BABY LOGAN | TACOMA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER
Meet Logan. I could snuggle this tiny peanut all day! I met this little fella’s mommy back in October at the Baby Bump Expo, and I am so thankful for our paths crossing. At the consultation meeting to plan Logan’s newborn session, I learned that his daddy is from Alaska and also served our country. Knowing the family’s love for the outdoors made choosing the set ups for Logan’s newborn session very easy, as I LOVE to photograph everything woodsy and PNW-y (Is this even a word? Maybe one only Washingtonians would understand). Plaids, pine cones, a tiny tent and a mini moose to snuggle up to in a crate was the vision.
When it was picture day, I got to see the goodies his parents brought to incorporate in his session. My favorite was the vintage looking American flag, his daddy’s combat boots and dog-tags. It felt good not only to capture Logan in his fleeting moments as a tiny newborn, but to capture him in some important pieces that would be loved by his family. I had so much fun with the flag set-ups, and Logan slept through most of it.
Toward the end of the shoot, Logan, although did INCREDIBLE for all of this photos, simply had enough. He told me he was done in the only way a baby can – poop. Not once. Not twice, but three times in a row! He has definitely broken the record for most consecutive poops under ten minutes, and set the bar high for all future babies. It was funny, and expected for my littlest clients to share their business with me (or usually dad) in some sort of fashion.
Chelsey Grant Photography’s studio is located in Orting, Washington, just outside of the Puyallup, Sumner and Bonney Lake areas. It is easily accessible from highway 410 and highway 162. The studio is fully equipped with everything needed for your newborn session, although props or special pieces to your family are always welcomed to add to the photography session.
All in all, I am so thankful to have had such an easy going baby, and thankful for the new friendships I have made with his family. I adore them all, and am happy to have documented these sweet first moments of them when they grew into a family of three. Now… Introducing sweet baby Logan!
