Frequently Asked Questions
It’s best to coordinate your outfits, but not necessarily match. Choose a color scheme or theme and have everyone dress in a similar style. Avoid busy patterns or large logos that can be distracting in photos. Aim for earth tones or neutral colors and incorporate different layers and textures to pull it all together.
The best time of day for a photo session is typically evening, also known as the “golden hour”. This is an hour or so before sunset. The light during these times is soft and warm, which can create beautiful and flattering photos.

Family sessions are scheduled for one hour of time.
Talk to your children beforehand about what to expect during the photo session. Let them know that it’s okay to be themselves and have fun. Bring along their favorite toys or snacks to keep them entertained during the session. Definitely have your little ones well rested and fed!
The location of your photo session can greatly affect the overall look and feel of your photos. Choose a location that reflects your family’s personality or interests, and ultimately what kind of scene do you want to see printed on your walls? You can also consider the time of year and the type of scenery you want in your photos. After booking, I will provide a list of preferred locations with image examples for you to see the feel for each destination.
